Physical conditions:
No external assistance will be allowed outside the places defined by the organization, so the athlete must be aware of his physical condition and know how to manage the problems that may arise for a mountain activity, safely.
The organization defines specific areas for assistance to athletes by member responsible for the team.
In these areas, the athlete is allowed to be able to receive food and change equipment. The athlete is required to keep the required gear.
The members of the support teams cannot access the athletes' supply areas, nor can they request any type of supply.
The athlete's bib is personal and non-transferable and must be placed in front of the body, at chest height and always visible.
In case of withdrawal, disqualification or time bar the athlete is obliged to hand over the chip, being discharged and appearing in the DNF classification.
The athlete during the entire race must adopt a dignified behavior, refraining in particular from resorting to offensive language, verbal or physical aggression.

The Louzantrail routes consist of passing through the historic area of Lousã, old paths used by the people of the villages, "levadas", forest roads, streams, etc.
The races are not closed. Participants must take into account the fact that there may be vehicles, animals, people, bicycles circulating in parts of the race.
Being an open event, participants must comply with the traffic rules in towns and roads for public use, as well as respect agricultural areas and private properties, under penalty of having to assume potential damages and compensation resulting from their non-compliance.
There will be alternative routes to deal with any unforeseen situation outside the organization.
The organization reserves the right to change the route and position of the checkpoints or supply stations at any time, without prior notice.
To avoid passing through more sensitive areas from the point of view of security, the following transit times are established:
To continue in the race, athletes must leave the checkpoint before it closes. Otherwise, the bus will be made, which implies handing the Chip over to the organization. If the athlete decides to continue the course it will be his own responsibility and in complete autonomy.
An electronic time control system will be used by means of a chip placed on the bib.
The marking of the course is the responsibility of the organization, and the athlete must respect it throughout the race, being expressly prohibited to choose shortcuts.
Along the route there will be duly marked control points. Athletes will have to stop in order to register the control of their bib, as well as respect the order of arrival at the checkpoint. In these same checkpoints, another electronic control system may be placed on the athletes.
The event's races are semi-autonomous, with the athlete having to be accompanied by what he deems necessary to be able to complete the races. The locations foreseen for refueling may change in location or be removed without notice. If the weather conditions justify it, information signs will be placed in places with natural water points.

If the weather conditions justify it, the mandatory material may be reformulated. In this case, it will be informed to the athletes through the official media, at least 48 hours before the start of the race.
The participant willingly assumes the risks and their consequences arising from participating in the event, whether they are moral, physical, material or of any nature.
Participants registered in Louzantrail agree to participate voluntarily and under their own responsibility in the competition. Therefore, they agree not to claim or demand from the organization, employees, authorities, sponsors and other participants, of any responsibility towards them and their heirs, in everything that exceeds the coverage of their responsibilities and that of their employees and participants.
The organization contracts mandatory insurance by law (personal accidents and civil liability) in accordance with Decree-Law 10/2009 of march, 12. The payment of the deductible in the event of an accident is the sole responsibility of the athletes.
Any accident or incident that occurs during the course is the responsibility of the participants, in everything that exceeds the risk covered by the insurance.
The organization will not incur claims expenses, which it was not aware of in time to activate the insurance.

The registration in the tests implies the implicit acceptance of the present regulation.
The withdrawal of the bib depends on the display of the citizen card or equivalent document (passport, residence card, etc.) and declaration of responsibility.
The athlete now accepts without any type of restriction health screening methods to be able to participate in LOUZANTRAIL, namely temperature control in control 0. As well as any medical examination or test that may be required by the Health Authority.
Medical examination and testing are excluded from the registration, being the athlete's responsibility.
In the event that, if there is a divergence in the registration data with the citizen card data, the organization reserves the right not to allow the athlete to participate in the event. In this case, when providing false information on the part of the athlete, the organization will not refund the amount paid on registration.
Issuance of invoices for registration must be requested at the time of registration on the respective platform. Invoices are not issued later and / or otherwise.

Athletes competing for the ADAC Short Trail Circuit have a € 1.5 discount on the Louzantrail Short.
Until February 15, 2021 we will give priority to registrations for members of the Portuguese Athletics Federation through ADAC in Louzantrail Curto.
The organization reserves the right to reserve and / or to exceed the limit number of places to meet its commitments to elite athletes (men with a score greater than 780 points and women with a score greater than 650 ITRA points), guests of the organization and to the official sponsors of the event.

An athlete who makes a false statement will automatically be canceled without a refund.

Awards will only be awarded for general and team podiums and immediately after the podium closes.
Due to Public Health restrictions there will be no prizes for the tiers.
In the competitive events, the first 3 classified in the classification by Team (male / female), individual General (male / female) and by step will be awarded.
The classification of the teams will be obtained by the sum of the positions of the general classification of the first 3 athletes of the team, ordered in ascending order. The tiebreaker criterion of the teams will be the sum of the 3 best times will be the method for the tiebreaker.
Athletes who complete the competitive events will receive a prize of Finisher.
The prizes will be delivered on the day of the event. Whoever does not pick them up on that day, the organization will not send by mail.

The filling and sending of the Registration Form for the Louzantrail events implies that the athlete who enrolls, becomes aware and accepts without any reservations the present Regulation.
Omissions in this regulation will be resolved by the Trial Jury, whose decisions will not be appealed.
To make a complaint, for any action verified during the course of the Louzantrail, it must be made in writing and delivered to the organization on the day of the event. The complaint will be analyzed and a decision will be made within 3 working days of which it will not be liable to complain.
